Earth Pigments
Earth pigments are pigments used in paints and obtained from the earth. These natural pigments are found in rocks and soils around the world, where different combinations of minerals create vibrant colors that are unique to the regional landscapes. My earth pigments are primarily from Washington state in USA.
You will find explorations of rocks, every earth color that I’ve managed to crush and bottle so far and use them in Watercolor paints, Oil paints, Oil paint textures. It has been a conversation with ancient earth spirits that dwell in these rocks. Come along with me and enjoy this journey
